Introduction:

Society for Family Health (SFH), one of the NSAs implementing the Accelerating Nutrition Results in Nigeria (ANRiN) Project, is conducting a baseline assessment in relevant LGAs comprising Igabi, Soba, Zaria, Lere, Kudan, Kubau, Kauru, Sabon Gari, Giwa and Makarfi, seeking to assess the knowledge, attitude and practice of caregivers of children 0-59 months about maternal, infant and young child nutrition in Kaduna State.

Against this background, SFH is recruiting data collectors from the above LGAs to carry out the data collection exercise.

Duration for the data collection:5-7 days Expected Start date: 27th December 2021.

Expected end date: 31st Dec 2021 –2nd Jan 2022.

Selection Criteria for Data Collectors.
Essential Specifications

The Data collectors must have;
➢A minimum of NCE, ND or HND in any quantitative science (mathematics, computer science, statistics, etc). Candidates with a degree are preferred.

➢ At least one year of experience in field data collection using Electronic devices.

➢ Previous experience in research, needs assessments and surveys (participative survey, focus group, interviews).

➢ Demonstrated leadership and management skills.

➢ Good command of MS Word and Excel.

➢ Proficiency in both English and Hausa languages is a must.

➢ Excellent interpersonal skills and demonstrated ability to establish effective working relationships with the locals and other stakeholders.
